This Week at The Pond, February 25 to March 4
We always are looking for new bands and this upcoming weekend we have two! Friday, March 2nd at 10pm is the Sara Ann Garrison Band. Some of you may have heard Sara Ann sing acoustic with Tyler Greene, but now she is backed by a full band! Expect some great music!
On Saturday we welcome The Jimmies 80’s Flashback Band! Yep, all 80’s music from INXS to Mellencamp to Petty and lots more!
Annapolis denizen SKRIBE will be coming to the beach on March 4th as part of our Sunday Afternoon Music Series

This Week at The Pond, February 18-25
We hope you’re all enjoying our Sunday Afternoon Music Series (at 2pm). We have lined up some great performers for Sundays. A long-time local favorite Red Letter Day performs on February 25th; Annapolis denizen SKRIBE will be coming to the beach on March 4th.
The acoustic version of Petting Hendrix, otherwise known as ADsM has joined our Friday “happy hour” rotation. They were awesome when they opened our Sunday Afternoon Music Series a couple of weeks ago, so check them out. Then Freshly Squeezed takes our stage at 10pm.
Tyler Greene & Friends are in the house on Saturday at 10pm. This young band has really hit it’s stride. If you haven’t had a chance to see them, stop by!

This Week at The Pond, February 11 to 18
This blog is a bit late, so we will start with our Thursday Double Header tonight, February 15th at 9:30pm with Taylor Knox and Kyle Offidani. Both of these gents are the real deal with SO MUCH talent. Kyle and Taylor will each perform a 90 minute set. It is guaranteed great music! And it’s FREE!
Friday evening we have Savannah Band, another rare talent, kicking off our evening at 6pm. And because so many of our customers have asked us to book Lower Case Blues more often than just Sunday nights, we have them on Friday at 10pm.
Saturday is everyone’s favorite local band, ELECTRIC VELVET. You don’t need to know much more other than you will have an awesome time!
Sunday, February 18 continues our Sunday Music Series at 2pm, this week with Green Means Go mixing up their song list a bit.

This Week at The Pond, February 5-11, GUMBO CRAWL!
Thanks to all the Polar Bears who came out this weekend and took the plunge! This upcoming weekend is Mardi Gras! And that means GUMBO CRAWL!! The Gumbo Crawl takes place on Saturday, February 10th from 2pm to 5pm. Tickets are on sale at the ten participating restaurants including The Pond!
We have booked Tear The Roof Off for Saturday at 4:30pm so you all can come back to The Pond and enjoy a great Mardi Gras band! One Love will be performing around 8:30pm on Saturday. And after One Love’s show, we will have a Dance Party until 1pm.
And, on Sunday, February 11th, we begin our Sunday Music Series at 2pm with ADsM, which is an acronym for Amy, Dave & Sometimes Mike. Sort of a Petting Hendrix acoustic style. Should be a lot of fun!

This Week at The Pond, January 29th to February 4th
All of us at The Pond want to thank everyone for coming out to our Customer Appreciation Party on Sunday, January 28th. It was a blast!!
This upcoming weekend is the Polar Bear Plunge for Special Olympics and there is a lot happening in downtown Rehoboth. The Pond is participating in the Chili Contest on Saturday, start time 2pm. This year, Chef Dave is creating a chili with braised boar. On Sunday, it’s our Polar Bear Breakfast (you can check out the menu here) from 9am to 11am; then our 4th Annual Polar Bear Jam starts at 1:30pm with FIVE acts: Savannah Band, Human Connection, Bettenroo, Jodi Lynn & Friends and Hoochi Coochi. It’s a great way to spend the afternoon!
Of course, it’s also Super Bowl Sunday with The Eagles and The Patriots. We will be posting a very special menu for the big game later this week!

This Week at The Pond, December 3-10
This is a busy week in downtown Rehoboth Beach. The Christmas Parade is Tuesday at 6:30pm and then Rehoboth Beach Main Street is launching a new event, Cookies, Cocktails & Cheer. The Pond will be providing cookies to several retail stores including our own 1st & Pond. Our cookies our HOT COCOA COOKIES, with chocolate chips and marshmallows. We will be serving at The Pond two drinks to go with the cookies: A S’mores Hot Chocolate and a S’moretini. And, we will have a few of our cookies at The Pond! AND… our favorite DIVAS, PJ and Kelly are back on Saturday at 8pm. Yep, we are starting them early so stop in for dinner and stay for some great music.
