Roast John
RoastJohn is an original rock band from Maryland's Eastern Shore. Their original sound goes anywhere from funk to folk to psychedelic to compositional. RoastJohn recently completed their self-titled debut album RoastJohn. The band members are Nick French (vocals/keyboards), Otto Grundman (guitar/vocals), Logan Rodriquez (drums/vocals) and Matt Smith (bass/vocals). Musically they identify as rock, folk rock, instrumental, jam and psychedelic with elements of funk and jazz. For influences they cite Pink Floyd, Phish and Yes. These tracks were recorded in just one day at Mid South Audio in Delaware. After a Covid lockdown delay, final mixing and mastering was performed by

MINGO is at The Pond every Wednesday, start time around 6PM So what is MINGO? Well, the best way to describe it is that it's musical Bingo. Rather than calling out numbers, music clips are played to match song titles on the MINGO card! Each round is a different themed MINGO card. The winner of each round draws a prize coupon from the fish bowl!
Trivia Challenge
The Pond has hosted Thursday Trivia Challenge for about 15 years now, resulting in a database of thousands of questions. We try to keep our Trivia fresh, fun and a bit irreverent. The game begins at 7pm; we encourage teams to come in early for dinner and our HALF PRICE WINE by the bottle special from 5pm to 9pm. HOW TO PLAY ROUND 1 -Each “General Question” is worth 5 points each. Three of the four rounds will be themed, with the fourth being a potpourri of categories. Mathew Street Band is a four piece classic rock band. Billy Libkey Lead Singer and Guitarist In Feb. 9, 1964, my interest in being a musician was sparked. (Beatles appearance on Ed Sullivan) In Feb. 10, 1964, my interest was now a full-fledged forest fire! All I had to do was learn to play an instrument and girls would love me.
